All Aboard: Achieving Diversity in the Boardroom

The Hong Kong Stock Exchange introduced new regulations that require all listed companies to have at least one female board member by the end of 2024. In view of this, we co-hosted an insightful panel discussion on the topic of Gender Diversity in the Boardroom with the WOMEN in CENTRAL community of the Hongkong Land Limited. We welcomed featured speakers Sabrina Fung, Partner, Corporate Finance at Deacons; Andrew Weir, Global Chair, Asset Management and Real Estate at KPMG and Kirti Lad, Founder and Executive Director of Meraki Executive Search & Consulting, to discuss the listing rule and its implications, current status and how to overcome the challenges of achieving non-single gender board and future outlook of sustaining gender diversity.
